OK, like most people, I've built my fair share of new kits, hundreds probably. And like most people, there are some parts of each kit that I detest doing, absolutely dread.

For me, its linkages. Screwing f*cking ball cups onto threaded rods and winding them on/off until I get just the right length.

What is it that YOU really hate to do?..

Yep, turnbuckles, closely followed by building the first shock (not so bad by the fourth) then followed by wiring.

Turnbuckles are easy, cordless drill and my electronics vice. *sound effects Zeeeeing* done!

Shocks may take a while but are generally straightforward. The part that I fret over and always need to revisit is any ball diff. I've come to the conclusion that some diffs are just bad and the only fix is taking them completely apart and starting over.

Also, glueing tires, but that's mostly off road these days.

Weight balancing is the only thing I hate. Other than that I enjoy every part of the build.

Shocks, because they're messy. Followed by chasing down and removing binding and swaybar tweak. Turnbuckles don't bother me.

Turnbuckles! Until I bought the Tamiya turnbuckle tool. It's great. Although the wider flat open ends from Xray don't fit in it.
