Had a great practice session with my buddy this evening at the track. He was running a clocked Argentina BTT and i was battling with him with my clocked speed II. Good job on both engines Neal. Now with my running Bones Brew my motor is running awesome. BTT makes awesome power top end is insane. The speed and that were very close to each other. Almost identical. I was very impressed with that clocked BTT and Speed.

Awesome Job!!!

Hi I've asked you questions before, but let me tell you about my problem. I have a jammin x2cr and a OS 21 vzb speed tuned engine that has a carb out of ninja Bo1. I bought this from a guy who has too many cars engines and parts. He told me that he rebuilt this engine with a new piston and sleeve that he had for the os xzb speed tune engine which I dont think is true because they don't fit. He also modified it and I dont really know what he did to modify it. It also has the OS 2060 pipe with a jammin header.
He put a flywheel and clutch bell that was in sad shape. I replaced the clutch bell and took it to the track. Its been real cold down here in se Texas lately. I had a heck time getting it to start but once I got it going it would run all right but then all of sudden it wouldnt start. I traced this to a bad plug and a dead ignighter before this happen occasionly it would surge at idle the guy told me the idle screw mixture screw was to fat so he leaned that but it came back later and all this time when it was run I heard a whooishing sound from the front of the engine. The guy said that was the exhaust and I dont think that was the exhaust that heard. I never had a glow engine that was so tempermental. Compared to my blue head os 21 xzb this thing is a pia any adivice you can give would be great full thanks Michael

I don't totally agree, only buy used engines from someone that has a good history at tuning there engines and maintaining engines, I have sold a few used engines that have been great for the buyers, cleaned and checked prior to selling them and made sure that the buyer knew the correct amount of fuel it had run as I keep a dairy of fuel usage with each of my engines ( notes section of my iphone ) if I lose that im in trouble.

I agree Sam. But when we're talking Jammin and used v spec we must say shit, lol. I have some great older CRE engines that I'll probably never run again. I won't sell them but i would help out a noob with them.

the VZB and XZB parts will fit each other..bu the timings will be all out of whack.....this would explain the issues your having....... Unfortunately there are so many thins that can go wrong with a nitro engine that its nearly impossible to determine what may be happening with yours..especially with its history..You may be just wasting your time flogging a dead horse, hard to say.

I'm sure you have some nice used engines but i never buy used. Waiting on new engine #4 for the new season. I have way too many engines, lol. I'll keep you in mind if any of the locals want an engine. I know you've taken good care of your equipment.

Yeah u are porbably right on the dead horse and a very expensive dead horse at that. I might try and get the guy to take it back and trade me for something he hasn't modified and I need to get rid of the car because it really was a pain too. Thanks again Michael Johnston

Default Texas by way of Canada

Something special is cooking for Clockworks in 2014....with the Worlds upon us this year, many people are looking for an edge. Regardless of your flavor (Italian, Japanese, Slovakian etc.) Clockworks has a special engine for you.

The ROAR Nats are being held in Austin,TX this year and any of the Clocked family are welcomed as a guest in my neck of the woods. Who knows, maybe the Mad Scientist himself will make an appearance.

If you think you are ready for a Texas Two Step, send me a PM and we can make arrangements.
