Default Caster Racing S10B Pro buggy build tips and thread

Welcome there, this thread has been started to help anyone who has recently purchased a Caster S10B pro. Noob or otherwise, a hassle free build is the main aim.

I invite everything from how to fine tune the slipper clutch to best motor/pinion gearing etc etc as long as it has something to do with building this buggy.

Thanks and I hope this helps

The Current S10b thread is very helpful but this thread is only going to deal with physically building this car as a new kit, nothing else.

And nobody needs a thread for building a vehicle, especially one that only sells 10 units a month.

while I sort of agree that this thread isn't needed why do you guys care?

Personally I think there should be a new/different S10B thread because the car the other thread started with is NOTHING like the V3.5 car that is out not. Sort of like a B4, B4.1, B4.2 issue. Each generation got its own thread there, the current S10B is so far removed from the original post that a new thread should be started and updated like is now done with the AE and Losi cars. Makes it much easier to find info if the first page is being updated like a FAQ.

While I agree we need a new thread for the current car since its not even close to the original anymore. I will say we probably don't need a build thread for a "less" popular car if we really need a build thread put it on our own caster forums. Just my 2c

ok ok guys. perhaps a thread on Caster's website that people can add to would be great, but isn't that idea of paying for a subscription and joining a forum like this? I keep on getting threats to take down this thread, I only started it to help people.

Anyway I can see that my thread is going to be a bitch slap fest, so if someone can tell me how to remove my thread, please advise if that is what everyone wants.

Also to answer some of the issues:
* I am aware there is another Caster thread, which I have been reading Since August last year.
* People who use the above thread are asking for a new thread on the new car.
* Whether the car sells huge volumes or not, it is a high quality vehicle that I would recommend my to my friends starting in the hobby as they are not wasting their $$ on crap that will break.
* The manual is not specific to this latest edition. So that is why I started this thread. I wanted to help noobs. I had issues with building this car, that my 30+ years in this hobby got me through no worries, but I doubt a noob would know what to do in all cases.
* I also read how to edit threads on the FAQ's, but I'm getting no option to delete. Please don't assume I don't read posting rules, as I did and I am certain that this thread could have been a winner to the right people. Experts here aren't going to find anything useful, however they could be of great assistance.
