Ya I have the ET48 on pre-order and I have a spare EB48 sitting new in the box so I may try the short wheelbase for tricks. It may be pretty sweet...be worth it to try it out. I also enjoy working on them so it wouldn't be a big deal to me to swap the parts out.

Thanks, I put a lot into it and am fortunate enough to have had the space and means to build it. It's tough to justify traveling to races with this 80' from my front door I need some better video of the revised obstacles....
I hope you made it far enough into the video, those were the first laps and I didn't put much rythm together until around the 3:20 mark.

So who here (non sponsored by a bearing company/supplier) plans on dropping ceramic bearings in it? Will you replace all of the bearings or just some? Which ceramics will you go with? Are you doing it just because the are "better" by popular consensus or you've actually experienced a worthwhile difference (longer lasting, more run time, faster, etc)?

I haven't tried ceramics yet but in general they not recommended for offroad.

I do know that Tekno's bearings are really good.

Replacements for me are Avid Revolution bearing @ 1 $ each.

I have never found it to be worth the price if I was running a limited onroad class I could justify it but from my experience they don't work really well in the hubs of big vehicles that jump high tends to get flat spots also I can buy a ton of stock bearings for the cost of one set of ceramics personally I've found the tekno bearings to be very impressive just my .2

+1 w/ avid, been running for years. Great price can swap out several times as needed.

For the turn-buckles about 20 to 25 gram lighter but at 70$ i'd rather spend it on tires.

I did that with a different brand, it was ok but didn't handle very good. The problem for me was the wheel base being shorter with a lot more traction made it a wheelie monster, fun maybe for fooling around. I was disappointed in mine, do yours and let us know how it turns out.

Default amain code

Does any body here know the January coupon codes for amainhobbies.com? I have a rather large wish list right now and want to save a few bucks, thanks!

I'm not buying any thing big just a $250 parts buy that happens about 3 times a year. I normally have the amain codes but my last one was nov, doesn't work in Jan 2014.
