Has anyone come across a bogus/phony online RC store before?
Today I was browsing and came across http://www.hpiracinghobby.com/ and was wondering if it is trustworthy as it seems a little suspect.
Anyone know of them or has shopped with them before?

one way to tell is if there are no verfied e-commerce certificates at the bottom of the page.
not sure exactly the correct term for them.
go to any legit company site and they'll have at least one most have several. one example is "google trusted store". etc.
if they don't have one stay far far away from them. there are enough well established online retailers to choose from.

Thank you for the replies.
I have shopped with creditable online RC stores such as A Main Hobbies, Tower Hobbies and RC Mart many times before. Just somewhat curious as I know the web is full of scams these days. I'll continue shopping with online stores I trust!
In that case, this can be to point out a false RC online store.
Thanks and let his thread help others that aren't aware of these things.

So I'm left with very little choice if I want to enjoy such a great hobby.
A Main Hobbies rocks, as does Tower Hobbies and RC Mart. No problems with them at all.
