dx4s or mt4
#1
Hi,
My old radio kinda...died. i needed a new one anyway, but i like waiting and then buying a good one that will last but not going overboard and buying a 500$ tx. i decided to hold back as long as possible and this just broke so i want/need a new one.
I have had my eye on the mt4 for a while and it is currently on special at my hobby shop. I then noticed when i went to buy it that they had a dx4s there as well. The mt4 looked plasticy compared to the spektrum.
But peple keep saying that spektrum have all kinds of problems.
I would like telemetry but it isnt my first priority and would like relatively fast response times.
What should i get?

I have the DX4S and have NEVER had an issue. Both are solid radios but what came down to me choosing the spektrum over the airtronics is how it felt in my hand. If I remember correctly, the MT4 is a smaller radio than the DX4S but the trigger seemed to tight to my finger compared to the DX4S. The DX4S fit better on my finger. Good luck with your decision.

Since I changed to a DX4S with the new DSM-R, I have not had a spektrum issue. I love the radio and the feel in your hand. The back light and all the extra's are great but the radio just feels much better quality than the 3S. You also get 2 receivers.
The MT-4 also looks to be a great radio, you can't go wrong either way
