How is this chassis on carpet? I am torn between the 418 and other MFG's. I run mostly on carpet and will hit a few TCS events.

Seems pretty good so far, Marc has been on Ronald's pace at the last two carpet races at ETS and Scandiano

Thanks Kentech, based on your review I pulled the trigger on a 418 from RC Market! Now hopefully I ordered it soon enough to get the kit with the extra parts. Perhaps it will be good luck for me that when I ordered it it was already Friday the 13th in HK. LOL

I don't own a 418.... What size hex do the diff screws have? I ask because I didn't enjoy working with 1mm hex screws on some Tamiya gear diff.
Thx.

Thinking about buying another for parts. I want to support me LHS but this price is pretty low. Just check it this morning. About $470USD (shipping included).

@JoeyE,

I was thinking exactly the same thing, i think they are very cheap considering the previous TRF417V5 (costs about 550$ or more).

Dizope,

Kits coming from Japan or HK will not come with bonus parts. They will only come with US, Canadian and Euro kits. Tamiya is doing the bonus parts in these regions to help the local shops sell kits.

HK kits do have the bonus parts. Spare arms and option springs and sway bars
