Put harder springs on.
I don't like excessive torque/punch as I like high revving motors. Just my opinion.

build your motor correctly by starting with a fresh cut comm, new brushes(i like 767's or 4499's),proper spring tension and shim the motor.next you will need good batteries with high voltage.and of coarse,a nice smoothe, free drivtrain.with a belt drive you run the belts pretty loose for minimum drag and with a shaftdrive you need to hand work your cases and shim the gears.

Put more amps to your charger. That will nicely give some punch more, but naturally will decrease your batteries lifetime. I did charge with 6.5 or 7.0A for stock when I was still racing there. That was all my charger was able to give.

Good volts on cells and a clean fresh motor (cut comm, re lubed etc etc)

You can change gearing to where u get more punch out of the car. Another way is to look at the readings when u buy a motor and find a motor that has alot of punch.

Or setup your esc for punch stock mode. I doubt that is the stock setting on most.
