Saturday track opens at 8am. Qualifying starts at Noon. Trophies will be presented after racing.
Track will be open after racing until 10pm for practice.
Sunday track opens at 8am. Qualifying starts at 11am. Trophies will be presented after racing.
ROAR Regional Director Mark Westerfield will be running Tech. Please read the newest version of the Rules, there are some changes from last year. The biggest questions we are getting is in related to tires. No slicks or bald tires are allowed in Short Course. Open Wheel classes, except for SCB, the rules states that as long as the tire is rubber, it is allowed.

Kyle and Alex experimented with them. M4 Subs and green barcodes are still king I think.
Track is a completely different animal after adding a coarser material and keeping the surface wet. Traction is 10x better, and easy on tires. So far!

Weekend Update:
The ROAR Regionals are on for this weekend. The snow prediction is light as of now, 1-3 on Saturday and rainy mix on Sunday. I have racers that have already paid for Hotels and more.
Friday the track opens at 12, and club racing starts at 7pm. 2 qualifiers and mains for $10 per class this week only.
Saturday is all Short Course and 1/8 Prolite and Buggy as a promotional Class. Tracl opens at 8am. Quals starting by 11, trophies presented after racing. Open pratice immediately aftewr racing until 10pm.
Sunday the track opens at 7am. Quals starting by 11am, trophies presented after racing.
The track is in the best condition ever. Tons of traction, little dust. We feel, and racers have commented that it is on par with any other indoor track in the New England area. Some racers are using slicks in the Open wheel class, other Bar style tires. The shop is fully stocked, and there are plenty of pit spaces. You will not need tables or chairs.
It looks to be a great weeknd! Come take part in it!

OK Racers, here is the final scoop. The weather has hit earlier than predicted and will be ending Sunday morning. We have been discussing it with the community and feel it is in everyone's best interest to postpone the race. Even if it stops Sunday morning, people will still not be able to make it from out of state. I have had a bunch of calls and pm in regards to this as well as talking with a few that are here, and we all feel it is in the best interest of everyone to postpone the race till the Weekend of Dec 27, 28, and 29. Sorry for the inconvenience, but the weather changed drastically overnight and they are predicting a lot of ice for the early Sunday AM.
We are having a Club Race on Sunday as usual. Starts at noon and the track opens a t 9am. Please spread the word in regards to the weekend.
