The traction drive is a great option for rough, rutted tracks. Be sure to set your mesh a little tighter than you normally would. There is a slight deflection of the traction drive center shaft away from the spur under hard acceleration or stress (casing a jump). Setting your mesh normally will result in premature wearing of the spur and clutch bell.
Got the bodies already?

Seems Stormer already has a part number and price. Where did that price come from? I might have to wait an pick up a used one

that is about what I was thinking pricewise based on what the Eb48 was listed for. Don't be surprised if it drops a little even its available., maybe $519 from stormer.

tower will probably keep this kind of price though sinc when other places had the eb48 for 499 ish, tower stuck with 549.

Think this would make a good 4s basher? It's either this or the eb48.2 for me. My son is really getting into my rc habit and we need something that will stay together. The truggy would probablly be better for rough terrain but would the weight be tough on 4s?
Tekno you rule! We have allot of your parts on our other trucks now we need your actual entire truck lol. You've come a long way since impakt rc.

if tower sells it for $569 u can get it for $444 with coupons, that's much cheaper than what i just forked out for my 3.0E ($870 converted from my currency)
