My new Mp9e TKI came with white 8 x 1.3's I'm pretty sure..
Man I raced the DUEL this weekend.....Proline Test Track on saturday and Thunder alley on Sunday....
This car is really good.....I had a blast.
Oh and by the Way..Drew Moller won the event with his Mp9 Tki3

Decided to go with mp9e tki over the mugen Eco m spec. Simply because I wanted it in kit form. This will be my first 1/8 ebuggy. Now that I've decided on wich buggy, I need help with deciding on what electronics I should put in.
So far I think I'll be going with the tekin rx8 gen2 and T8 motor combo (any other suggestion are welcome). What motor KV are most running ( 50/50 bashing and racing). Haven't ran @ this track before but its a medium size medium bite track.
As for servo & battery not sure yet.., need suggestions. My budget is $100 for servo and maybe $140 for a 4s. Also does the mp9e tki accept side by side (like 2s+2s) If so, what do most prefer, single 4s or 2 2s?
I think that's about it for questions. Thanks for any help.

I'd try and get a high voltage servo as the gen2 rx8 can run 7.4volt output.
Batteries I'd go with smc 4s packs and will almost get 2 for $140 or if you have cars that run 2s packs you can run those side by side.

When I had my Mp9e my parts box had gearboxes, arms, pair of c-hubs, pinion gear for the gearboxes, all the plastic parts that going on the shocks, wing stay mount, chassis braces. Basically I had just about all the plastic parts for the car. This car is pretty durable. It will take a beating. Gear wise just make sure everything is shimmed properly. This car will last a long time when taken care of.
Have fun

Does anyone know the length in mm of the center drive shafts on these cars?

Sweet! The truggy rear is 113 mm and the buggy rear is 110! That's great they will fit perfectly in my associated which has 110 front and 113 rear. The pinions have the same bearing size so these should work no problem. Sooooo tired of the captured pin cvds on this thing.

Diffs are a pain in every car except the Durango LOL, on the ae car with ft motor mount the center is pretty easy, my buds Kyosho not so much. I love the Kyosho just not the price but you defo get what you pay for. What an awesome car!
