Just a head's up for anyone planning on going to Gallimods for their Fall Finale. You may want to seek an alternate route for the return voyage home if you were planning on using I-84 or US 6 eastbound.

I-84 east to close in Danbury on Saturday

DANBURY, CT (WFSB) -
Interstate 84 east will be closed in Danbury starting Saturday evening and officials with the state Department of Transportation are warning drivers to avoid the area.

The closure will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday and could remain closed for roughly 24 hours.

DOT officials will be set up around 12:30 p.m., and motorists in the area should anticipate all detours to be in place by 2 p.m.

The primary closures are:
•I-684 south exit 10 ramp (closing at 1:30 p.m.)
•I-684 north exit 9E off-ramp to I-84 east (3 p.m.)
•I-84 east closed at NY exit 20 (5 p.m.)

Officials said motorists trying to avoid the closure will likely travel through downtown Danbury, causing more traffic on local roads.

Sorry Reinaldo, I actually removed all the "nicknames" as soon as u asked but the name stuck since racing was started already. I'll see if there is anything else I can do today. But it is changed for next time for sure though.

Tazers, Flipouts and the like.......last weekend my truck had DD Greens rear and Edges M3 front. Buggy had Tazer M4 rears and Scrub M3 fronts.
I go back and forth between the flipouts and tazers on the buggy.

Most of the SCT guys are running City Blocks, Line-Ups and blockades.........

Guys the outdoor track is open all cleaned off and looking mint...come on down if you want to do some racing under the lights tonight!

Hey guys, just wanted to throw this out to the local guys before posting it on the for sale thread. My 22SCT and 22ST are up for sale now. The SCT comes with th upgraded rack from Exotek, sway bar kit, carbon fiber post braces, few sets of indoor and outdoor tires, upgraded diff, Trinity based Team Scream D3.5 17.5 motor, and a JR servo. It has the aluminium 25° pivot in the front and i think it has the brass shim, i cant remember. The ST is outa the box with the aluminium 25°pivot and 5° hubs. It comes with a Trinity based Team Scream 13.5 motor and brand new M4 slicks with AKA red foams. It has a brand new Savox servo and a glitch buster. My 22 2.0 will be up for sale after Motorama as well as Freds 22. I'll describe those when the time comes. I'd like $200 for the SCT and $200 for the ST. I'll have some batteries for sale after Motorama as well, all Team Scream packs, one shorty and two full size 70c. PM me with any questions. Oh, and MAYBE my M11X with the aluminium case too.

Does anyone have an extra set of the blue associated B4 buggy front shocks they don't need?

Ante Up is just 5 days away for 1/5 scale and 6 days away for 1/10 racing.

Saturday we will be running 2 rounds of 8 minute quals for 1/5 and then 15 minute mains.

High Jump will be in between rounds 1-2 and 2-3.

Sunday racing will commence at 10AM with 3 rounds of 6 minute quals and 8 minute mains.

Long jump will be held between rounds 1-2 and 2-3. Sand drags will be held before and after the mains...........lighting permitting.

We will be doing a 1/5 scale oriented door prize handout after mains on Saturday and then another handout for 1/10 schwag before mains on Sunday.

There will be "heating devices" spaced throughout the pits during racing as well as a BIG "Heating Device" on Saturday night as well as Cajun Food with a bake sale.
