We'll see. I'm still a b44.2 guy because of the performance and all of the setup info. out there.
My suggestion for and ESC & motor:
ESC: HobbyWing Just Stock - $50
Motor: SchuurSpeed 17.5 - $84
Reel in the guys on the straight running the $300 ESC & motors, get ask in the pits if you're running boost.

This is the second time I buy a buggy, and then a new, sweet buggy comes out.
Apparently, Tessman with his hot bodies 4wd buggy hit both cav and maifield and broke their b44.2's and his kept on running. Finally, a tough 1/10 4wd buggy??

I have decided after the advice on here to give 17.5 stock a try i will start racing as soon as i can get an esc and a 17.5 motor which brings me to my next question what are the rules for 17.t regarding esc, and motor. Or what are the rules in general i will be starting to race after the new year moneys tight to buy an esc and motor right now me and my wife just had a baby. i was looking at the viper vtx10r, lrp flow works team, orion r10 pro, or tekin rs gen 2. I cant decide which as i want to be able to use it when i am able to move up to mod 2wd sc. also trying to decide on a motor i like the revtech's on paper does or has any one on here used them? Also wondering what would be good tire choices for the indoor track? Any advice would be helpful thank you again everyone who has given me advice.
