Radio Control Hobbies & Raceway - Waterbury, CT.
Sorry for the stuff I prolonged on this forum willy and john. I hope i'm still allowed to race at Rchr. I should have never brought up yesterday and learned my lesson. Jeff Roy I might be wrong and whatever, But it dose not matter anymore, I wont talk to you anymore or bring you up because we can't get along. Hope to see you guys soon if I can hopefully for the grand prix.

Can we keep this to PMs and not the forums, I wasn't there I know it's maybe not my place. But Will and John are trying a fresh start and For them there is no need for negative PR at the moment.
From now on let's just agree to keep the drama from the track to personal or private conversations only.
We don't need other racers and ppl in the area being able to read our dirty laundry, if john or will wanted to address it on here they would have. And I think we owe them that respect.
Sorry if I come of a tad self righteous, hell I'll admit I've been guilty of doing it. But let's move on if not for yourselves but for john and wills sake.

John and Will, gave me a sweet deal, I have ran the same truck for the better part of 3 years now, My SCR is going to get clean up and placed on the shelf next to all my Racing Trophies, can't buy a new kit, replacing everything is not cost effective, and the SC6 is nowhere in sight.... So I decided to give this thing a shot... I've already got some awesome ideas for setup, if all else fails just needs some kyosho big bores.... However the tekno is still on the shelf. I lost my other (new) racers edge 6500mah battery to an internal short. If someone has a high capacity pack with 4mm plugs that I could borrow if really appreciate it!

I have decided after the advice on here to give 17.5 stock a try i will start racing as soon as i can get an esc and a 17.5 motor which brings me to my next question what are the rules for 17.t regarding esc, and motor. Or what are the rules in general i will be starting to race after the new year moneys tight to buy an esc and motor right now me and my wife just had a baby. i was looking at the viper vtx10r, lrp flow works team, orion r10 pro, or tekin rs gen 2. I cant decide which as i want to be able to use it when i am able to move up to mod 2wd sc. also trying to decide on a motor i like the revtech's on paper does or has any one on here used them? Also wondering what would be good tire choices for the indoor track? Any advice would be helpful thank you again everyone who has given me advice.
Get john or willy to order you a Speed Passion Reventon Pro. Best esc out there if you want a great esc which is the same as the Orion and Hobby wing. Literally hobby wing makes all 3 but the Reventon Pro I believe is only $130. They also make fairly good and cheap competitive motors. Good luck see you around. But if your gonna get an expensive think about this one before you do it!

Hey dude....I was speaking in general terms here about so many drivers that have some anger issues. I'm always so happy to be able to have time at any track and it bums me out to see nonsense or even hear about it.
I don't care if as you say it was a friend of mine that started it alll or if others were involved. You didn't have to continue it. There is too much hot headedness going on...I'm just sick of it no matter who it is. If you are 30 years old or 15 years old.
Thanks for your private message on Facebook threatening to have the moderator edit my post. I'm sure it was way out of line....
Good luck this indoor season James.

This is the second time I buy a buggy, and then a new, sweet buggy comes out.
Apparently, Tessman with his hot bodies 4wd buggy hit both cav and maifield and broke their b44.2's and his kept on running. Finally, a tough 1/10 4wd buggy??

I like the HB buggy. It is very interesting, but if we're all honest with ourselves, at the club level, it's really going to be used by the hackers to take everyone else out
Hard to improve on your driving skills when you don't have to worry about breaking anything.
