Yikes. Double check the connectors?

Is there anything else I could be doing wrong to cause this?
Have you checked cell voltages towards the end of charge / after charging?

Are you storage charging you packs? If you're only racing once a month it would be a good idea to do that. How are you balancing your packs with this charger?

occasionally yes after charging - I've never seen the cells more than 0.05v apart.

I was told to store them at about 3.8v per cell.

I usually use an external balancer... I also sometimes use a different charger I own which is a more modern balancing charger but it only charges at around 1A. I mostly use it for charging the 3S pack in my radio but it can charge 2S as well.

Hey all, has anyone had issues with an ICE showing low input voltage? Buddy of mine has one that comes on when plugged in and will let you set it up, but once you start a charge the screen blanks out and then shows and error of input voltage below 11.45v. This is on a trusted 12v source and other chargers show a constant 12.7 volts. I checked the input screen on the ICE and it has been showing 11.3 to 11.6 for input voltage. I took it apart and tried to check with my meter. I get proper voltage on the board input, but after the first FET and what looks like a cap, it drops to 1.5. Never had one of these open before, so I do not know if this is what it should read or not.

Any help would be great!

Thank you!

Ive had dozens of them kick out because my ps aren't very good. They all kick at 10-10.5 volts measured by the ice charger itself. Unfortunately once it kicks off the voltage usually recovers making the reading on the error message far higher than when it actually kicked.

The display gets dim around 10.5 and to test this out simply cut the current in half and then gradually increase it on the fly while reading the input voltage as you go up in charge current.

As I said it is not a Power Supply issue. Using a 72amp Server power supply and has no problems running my other ICE and Checkpoint TC1030 at the same time.

Are you saying that it kicks off at the minimum current setting. I did have a number of them pull extremely high current regardless of the setting , but it was easy to see it because the display reflected the actual charge current.

I might even have some parts or spare chargers for parts. I may have good charger with bad display that is useless. Perhaps we can combine two junkers to make a good one?

It kicks off at any setting. As soon as you start a charge, the screen goes dim/blank and then it comes back on and says low input voltage error. If you have one with a good board that would be great.
