I bought a Xerun X1A 120A esc & 9100kv sensored brushless motor installed on a tt sparrowhawk vx,but it spins 360 degrees out of control at full throttleLooking for a new touring/drift car or buggy that can handle my esc & motor,what I have in mind is HPI sprint 2 or thunder tiger sparrow hawk xb,which is more ideal?thanks in advance

kv is way to high. you will have to gear down so much to make it drivable. better tires will also help.

I'm using 48 pitch 26t pinion & 72t spur gear,will changing to a 19t pinion help?

that might help. really it would be better to switch out the motor.

I'm a speed freakPrecisely why I bought this 9100kv brushless combo,rather than switch out the motor,I would prefer to look for an ideal rc car that can handle it

did you trim it (the car) up? that and new tires and it should handle it. if tou want a new car the tamiya ta series or a spec r, or 3racing car mould handle the power fine. all can be had for cheap

try programming the esc (put a lower punch setting) and get grippier tires

I'm at level 1 punch setting,using thunder tiger fire blade tires,what do you mean by trim?

Well you said its spinning out. Did you set camber equal left to right and front toe equal left to right?

Other changing to soft suspension springs & lowered ride height,I left everything else default,sorry noob here

I just realized that car has solid links oops on my part. how soft are the springs? what is the rate on them? did it spin out with the harder stock springs?

i think that a set of softer tires is the answer.

Its tt 4.2 coil medium tension springs,the stock are too hard & stiff & makes the car unstable,ordered high grip tires,but out of stock,would foam tires help?

foams? yes but they dont work well on a street they fall apart. what oil are the shocks filled with? if you want to go fast. then put softer oil in.

Think its silicone oil,tt reccomends it,only used tamiya aw grease on spur & pinion,left everything else default

what weight or viscosity of oil in the shocks? dont put anything on the spur or pinion its not needed
