Hey guys,
Still trying to figure out a shock package for the car. Car is a little on the heavy side running a Promatch 7200mah 4s that weighs 600oz with a T8 2050 and RX8 gen2. I would somehow like to upscale my SCTE 2.0 shock package into the 3.0e. I"m confused on if the stock set up oil and pistons will be to light. I would try Dakota"s setup but not sure what pistons would be equal to the ones he used or would his setup be to soft for the weight of my car.

About to do a amain order and want to get it right, im in aus. so want to grab everything in on go because of high shipping cost.
Racing tracks will be a indoor Asphalt surface and outdoor dirty surface.
Some questions:
1)Im leaning towards tekin esc motor combo. What speed motor do you recommend? 2050kv?
1a) What pinion should I buy if needed if it doesnt come with the losi kit.
2) What vehicle batteries do you recommend? Never ran a 1/8 electric so no idea on battery sizes runtime etc.
3) Any other parts i should order for the build? e.g im guessing there be enough oil to run a all around 5k-5k-5k in the diffs if thats a common standard setup?

I think the kit comes with 14/15 pinions. If I remember correctly I'd stick with those. I use the 15 for indoor and outdoor. I usually change the spur between 43 for more top or 45 for more torque
I use 5000+mah 50c+ batteries for solid ten minute runtimes. Orion, trinity, trakpower, smc are all awesome batteries. Try one of those out for the most consistant power. From my experience anyway.
Only parts I've ordered were the extra spring colors, arms, shock shaft, and hinge pins. I started with 5/7/3 diffs. Now I'm 5/7/5. I'm also running 30/30 tlr oil
