Hi everyone,
great forum!
I'm hoping someone here can help out. I've just bought my first electric RC Car, and having difficulty working out how to charge the batteries.
I've bought the 1 1/6 e-Revo and 2 1200mAh NiMH batteries.
To charge them I bought the Spider 1 charger on the advice of the LHS, I also bought the Traxxas Series cable to charge them both at the same time. However after trying to do this the Charger stopped after 5 minutes saying battery full.
I had it set to
NiMH Auto charge at Max 1.0 A
Default D.Peak Sensitivity
Capacity Cut-off at 2400mAh
Has anyone successfully charged 2 x 1200 NiMH batteries using the Spider 1 charger? Or can anyone suggest any way of charging them in Series?
I've charged them both individually without a problem. And the series cable works fine in the car itself.
Cheers

Not familiar with the charger, but a couple of possibilities: Setting the charger for double the number of cells when charging in series?
Does the manual explain if the delta peak detection setting is per cell or per pack? If per pack the setting may need to be doubled.
