It requires a different driving style. I ran MM4 on a very low traction sand track this past weekend and did better than I thought.

Differences in RM3 are generally softer rear springs/oils and slightly different suspension geometry settings. I'll post my setup later today to give you a starting point at least.

seen these down to about $119 with various discounts.

Is there a new buggy on the way?

What currently is considering must buys for the buggy?

Where did you see one for 119 at? If I see one that cheap I will pick up another! I paid like $229 a couple weeks ago after all discounts from Tower Hobbies. I do think they are working on another version, I saw it talked about somewhere.

Yeah, the rumor is Q1 2014. Nothing official though.

Upgrade the steering rack.
Aluminum RF hanger.

Nice to haves:
CF shock towers?
Longer chassis?

same here.

I did it with 20 grams of lead under the motor.
you have to keep on throttle through the corners, and it is lightning fast.
but be carefull when accelerating out of the corner. that can be tricky

and the buggy jumps awesome with MM4

Tower dropped the kit to $139.99

Minus the club savings coupon 010FB of $20 off >$125 you have yourself a buggy kit at $119 plus free super savers shipping.

I think you need to stack one of those free shipping over $99 dollar coupons too as super saver I believe is $150. But, pretty easy to get to that for sure buying various upgrades.

How are those longer plastic chassis working out? any breakage issues still?

$99 free shipping happens quite often. I think it's like that right now even. Tower aggressiveness means you can probably pound used sellers to get a really good deal there too.

I don't understand why anyone would use the plastic chassis with so many extended aluminum options out there.

that absolutely pisses me off, 1 week after paying 249 they drop it all the way down....it is an absolute steal now.
I sent Tower a strongly worded email complaining lol...like it will actually do anything.

I'd call them. I think they have pretty good customer service. I've never had something like this happen to me though.
