REVO Single Speed Conversion
#1
A question was asked on another forum, as to wether or not anyone makes a single speed conversion for the Revo. This sparked my interest, so I figured out the gear ratio's that would get me closest to a truggy's final drive ratio.
I did some reverse engineering, and machined a part that replaces the 2nd gear primary clutch. It is a direct drop in, no mods required, and we lose some weight. First gear is removed completely.
I actually machined a whole bunch of them after doing some R&D. PM me if you are interested.

Hey guys. I have one of these coming in the mail in the next few days and will document how the install goes. This seems to be a good alternative to notching the center clutch and taking some of the hastle (and work) out of the FOC.
One quick question, what screws are needed by the end user to do this mod?
I'm excited to test this out and hopefully get reverse!

The plate snaps into the back of the gear, and locks against the hardened pins. There are no holes to be drilled, no mods need to be done at all. The plate is pinned to the shaft in the same manner as the 2nd gear primary clutch is/was.

just got the package today! the piece is very nice, the instructions are straight forward (have had the trans apart a few times already so I could guess how it all went together) and the locker is a very nice part!
all in all well worth the small fee and a MUST HAVE for you Revo conversion guys. Great seller, quick shipping!
