What stiffer springs would u suggest to get for the rear to try first ??

bring 3 more drivers with you,grainger and the blue car were in mod the other 2 were 13.5,if you have at least 4 people to do mod (or run a heat)then they will run it,i think thats why they run as four together,other wise no one runs mod there.i was surprised to see a mod class tbh .its not like west london where its just sam or ben on their own,that wouldnt happen at amcc due to a lack of marshalls

Damn, clearance on the T4 is crazy tight, I picked up a 72T pinion, but realized for 10.5T maybe I should have gone a 74T, did not notice how limited the back travel on the motor can be (could be my TP motor), with the 72T I can go down to a 30T pinion min.
Then I noticed how close the motor screws are to the pinion, and how little room there is for the pinion in general (though I'm just running Yeah Racing pinions reversed).

Still looking forward to seeing how it goes tomorrow though.

These kits seem to be impossible to find at the moment. Is there an ETA on a replenishment?

I wish I could help you find one in stock somewhere, Semple. Especially since I see that you're a local racer. There's a few of us in the area who race T4s, but I'd love to see more. RCmarket shows that it should be back in stock in 2-3 weeks, but I don't know how accurate that really is.

yes,but if you can get a full set of spring from 2.5 to 2.8 ive used the all at one stage or another,the t4 changes with the weather,as it gets hotter i go to 450 oil and the2.5-2.8 progressives all round,if the rear becomes ununstable then i stick the 2.7's on the rear,im still .5 a sec off the faster guys but its got me going faster

At first, yes.

Softer fronts will usually give a bit more steering, but the car will be a bit lazier. That will make it easier to drive, but not necessarily faster.

Everything is dependant on the track, it's layout and weather etc.

The only real way to know is to experiment and get to see what you like.

Do you prefer the xray springs or the rsd springs on asphalt?

So far, RSD, but none match exactly so you can have everything inbetween if you use Xray as well.

Thanks, I think I'll try the RSD spring sets then as they are cheap to buy as a set. Hopefully they will help the car I'm running Kit springs at the moment on a low/med grip asphalt track.

Which springs do you perfer on carpet?

What spur/pinion do you all run? I'm currently running a 4.12 fdr on my 2012 t3, but will be stepping up to a t4. The t3 is a 104 spur/48 pinion. Ideas?
