Or if you're on tarmac, run Reflex Racing silvers all round as these are awesome.
The progressive silvers?

Yep. Those are a good place to start on asphalt.

The Silvers from Reflex are progressives, the other set to have, is the Greens (which are also progressives) for the front for higher traction.

The setup that is a real good place to start, EA's from the birds. Note that the 2.4 springs should be 2.5, 2.4 are testing springs and did not make it to production. EA Setup

Perhaps try softer oil as well.
would 2.5-2.8 progressives work...

I found 2.5-2.8 all around to be worse than stock, same or similar traction in front and less direct up front. YMMV.

How far can you get with just shock angle, in lieu of spring changes? I'm racing my T4 for the first time this weekend, and have no tuning parts other than shims. I'm starting with the kit asphalt setup. The only spares I have are spool cups, so I hope it lives up to its reputation for durability.

I haven't broken any parts since racing my car in February. Only minor shimming up since its developed a bit more slop, but nothing serious. Spool cups started wearing a bit too. I found this car to be very low maintenance. Love it!

I've found that I get a noticeable amount of change with shock angles, too. It's definitely something to try out.

I'm trying to figure out how to loosen up my T4 as well. Right now I'm running on medium grip carpet and I've got medium roll centers but my shocks are stood completely up, so I've got lots of playing to do.

It depends on the track and how bumpy it is etc.

I have been running progressives all round on asphalt and found it can make the car more consistent. Then at another asphalt track that was faster and smoother I ran 2.9's with 2.7's

2.7 and 2.5 work well on carpet. If grip comes up enough you could run 2.7 front and rear.

Lay the rear shocks down a hole or two

I would definitely buy some springs, they are the easiest thing to change that can make a huge difference.
Quite often I will leave everything else exactly the same and just change springs.

Skiddins

P.S. 90% of my setups have the front shocks in hole 2 and rears in hole 3

+1 on the springs. Once you find a great setup that you like the springs, rollcenter blocks, and shims is about all you'll have to change out depending on track conditions and carpet to asphalt requirements. Very durable car!

Didn't know there were going to be any Mod drivers there, so I went with the car set up for 13.5 and left it.

Will be back there next Sunday, will run Mod then (bet no drivers run it!)
