Default Motor combo- servo- reciever questions

Hey guys, i dont know if this thread is on the right section but anyways im going to get myself a touring car and i have no onroad motor or esc for it so i as thinking of putting my castle creations sidewinder sct motor combo on my touring car. Would it fit correctly? Would it burn the motor or esc? Im not going to race it, im just going to run it on the street infront of my house. Also am i able of putting the servo and remote that the hpi blitz brought on the touring car? Thanks for the help guys, really appreciate it.

that castle system is way to much for a tc. the can is also larger than a normal 540 size and might not fit in some cars (it doesnt fit in mine) i guess if you are only doing speed runs it might work. both the servo and the radio system from the blitz should work in the car. since its an onroad you might be dissapointed with the servo performance as it will be slow. radios are almost universal and work from car to car.

btw what car r u getting because it might be easier to answer these questions if people knew the car

the castle system should fit in the car just fine. it would be alot of power though. it would be putting alot of stress on the drivetrain and i do recommend getting something else. the servo that you choose for the car is really personal preference. go for speed over torque and as fast as you can afford, the servo from the blitz would work ok though. if you plan on getting more cars in the future or if you dont already have on i would say invest in a good quality radio like futaba or sanwa. the radio from the blitz would work fine though also.

if you have any other questions about stuff like tires or tuning do start another thread in the onroad section though

onroad cars are so much fun! you wont be disappointed!

A better place than a separate thread to learn about tuning for that car and ask car related questions:
