Default Cant figure this out

I've got a Losi Ten SCTE than I run on dirt oval. It has a Futaba reciever, RX8 esc, and a Toro 4600 sct motor. About 5-6 minutes into a race or practice the truck stops responding suddenly, then two or three seconds later will take off again, sometimes the steering works during the this time when it shuts down, sometimes it doesn't. The rx8 is giving the lost connection code..ie..all the lights are flashing. Temps of the motor and esc are below 170. I have spent alot of time trying to figure this out, anybody have any ideas?

Have you tried disabling Lipo cutoff, when you get that deep into a run your amp draw may be momentarily bringing your voltage below the cutoff point.

I will try all three, I had wondered if my reciever was going bad, but seemed odd it would only do it 3/4 of the way through the run.

I have not tried to reset the exc, I will do that.

I never thought of turning off the lipo cutoff, that makes perfect sense, but on the other makes me nervous, I would hate to drain the lipo beyond charging.

Can you adjust voltage for lipo cutoff? Also when my receiver was bad it would do it after a few minutes of driving, but not consistently.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say that you are using a Savox servo aren't you?

Ahh savox servo. Known to be glitchy little bastards due to hi amp draws causing "Brown outs" that would explain the esc flashing lost signal

You may need to get a "glitch buster"

You may want to throw another brand servo in there just to test the theory
