Competition is healthy and it is only competing with one aspect of RCTECH. I love RCTECH and am a junkie like some of you but some post about certain topics can be slow to develop sometimes so having a different outlet to discuss buggies will be a added bonus and I will welcome it. Good luck on the site.

@nv529, over the coming months, we shall have a module developed which will be a repository for members to download setup sheets, buggy instruction manuals. This is a unique feature which reinforces the site's individuality.

@JoeC, thank you for your words of encouragement. There are too many haters who do not like change. We maintain that we are not in competition with any other forum just looking to create a buggy specific community for those who choose to join.

I hope the RC8.2E forum section is more friendlier than it is here

Well, I guess we can have links of other competing websites in our signature.

I don't see it as an issue. Seems how I am converting my blitz to what is practically a 1/8th buggy other than the fact that it will be 2wd, I will try to join the site. People on all rc forums share threads from other forums all the time. It isn't like everyone on rctech is going to switch to this other forum. I rely on many rc forums for different things.

URC for rc news and a few funny/cool threads
rctech for my local track and the lounge
and finally rcsparks for looking at epic mods

seeming how every time I ask a specific question on this site in the section (usually minis or short course) I either get no response or someone saying it has been asked before and to search it. The search function on this site is so useless it is easier to post on another forum and wait or call the lhs. Meanwhile on other forums (URC mainly) there are two questions that are asked at least every other day:

What bl system for my truck?
how to get started with lipos?

Many members there go out of their way to either explain it or link to a good thread about the specific topic and offer to help if the newbie still needs it.

Registrant is based out of the UK. I would post more information, but it might be against forum rules.

RCTech has been good to me and I wouldn't leave until being forced to. I like it here and have made some friends through these forums.

"cheers mate" tells you where he's from.

As far as any issues with him "spamming" RCTech with his site, I have my opinion but will let administration make the call.

+1

It would sure be a bummer if I "accidentally" run into him at the Reedy Race next year.

who said you would have to leave rctech? I go to 6 rc forums regularly and 3 for my aquariums. Each site has its benefits and issues.

For me I go to rctech because that is where my local tracks post stuff. I have many issues with rctech that I don't have with most other forums, but it still has the thing no other forum has, my local tracks.
