I'm going to invest in a set of allan ball drivers and I want opinions on what's worked for you. We've all seen the Losi, Duratrax, Dynamite, XTM, etc. but there may be some out there not so well known that deserve a look. I'd like feedback on the brands mentioned and any others you may be using.

So chime in guys. What's worked for you? Thanks

This isn't really a life threatening or crucial decision, just go buy a set that you like, all the name brands you mentioned are good.

I know, not life threatening, just don't want to spend $50 or $60 on inferior tools. If particular brands strip before others I'd like to know before I buy. Thanks for any input.

MIP makes the best allen ball driver. They are worth the $15 each wrench

AE offers a set that's a 1/4 drive. Coupled with my lithium powered driver cost me under $40. It comes with 1.5-2.5, ball and straight. Don't know who makes them for ae but they seem to be good quality and work great for maintenance.

I snapped the ball off my EDS 2.0mm. I always keep a regular Allen handy for those really tight screws now.

Using RB ball driver. Seems good quality.

EDS or MIP... i've owned hudy tips and eletric tips...and they wore out pretty quick

I like AE, MIP, Hudy, And Vp. These four offer the best type of metal so you won't strip any more screws. AE is by far the cheapest though.

"Buy Once" is my way too when it comes to tools and MIP seems to be the popular choice so far. AE's popular too. Opinions on the AMainhobbies.com house brand? Curious who makes them for AMain.

I have used almost every brand, and MIP is all that I will use now. They are the best tools I have owned. They are much better than my Hudy were and they are cheaper.
