so is that a 4 gear or the same 3 gear? You should start a new thread. Still think the best first post is on the bmax thread so if any new stuff come up or fixes and posted on the 1st post. http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...ax2-mr-rs.html

The prototype of ER-12M 2.0 had been testing and racing for one year.
In the Super Cup Championship Series, the race result showed how amazing a buggy it is!

Exclamation Theory on "Copied" Buggy Designs

I think one of the reasons we see buggy's looking similar and even being similar in some of the geometry is because in this case for e.g The Person or company who designed the buggy was perhaps not part of or an employee of either Intech or Durango.

I think it is very likely that a totally separate 3rd party designed some kind of a base model. Then, Both Intech and Durango (and maybe even others) purchased that design and built upon it with their own custom and unique parts.

In a day and age where re-branding is rampant, it's not so far-fetched to believe that two totally separate company's both purchased the same base design.

I'm just guessing there. I have no information or evidence to prove or disprove the theory. Just seems far more logical than one company copying another without being sued.

Also, what makes all those posters so certain Intech copied Durango? How do we know Durango did not copy intech? Please don't say because Durango released first. That not evidence of who designed it first (if either of them designed it at all). That just means Durango released it first (maybe they hurried and intech took the slow and sure route?!?!?! I Dunno. I don't really care. I'm only posting this to explore both sides of the coin after seeing many posts that were just one side of the coin (the Intech copied Durango side of the coin).

but yes, I am a huge fan of intech. Half of our club drive intech's. All intech products have one goal. To be competitive, durable and affordable and Intech has succeeded everywhere in those departments.

Intech ROCKS!!!

I like my 2.0 buggy. It was competitive and on par pace wise with some of my other high end 2wd buggy kits. A few refinements and it would be a really nice kit. Problem is some of these smaller brands are sold by small distributors so you just never know how long they will sell the car and how fast they will stop selling the cars.

Well as far as spare parts go I have enough dex210 arms to run till I'm 80, transmission internals are also same as Durango dex210 and I'll be alright with everything else since I had picked up a second roller. I drove it on clay and it was average to good but I'm thinking it will do much better on turf since our track changed from clay to turf that's my next mission with it. It's always nice to run an older not so famous brand, just gotta find what body fits it best of what's out there now. I think the Rb6 might be the best fit.
