Default Charge help

Hello guys I run nitro ATM
And looking at a new charger
I run these on a weekend
1 x 5000 mah 14.8
1 x 5000 mah 11.1
1 x glow lighter
2 x 2300 mah 7.4
What would be a good selection
I like the 4 x time chargers or the duo chargers
Any help thanks

You would want a charger that's rated at 20A per charge port especially when charging a 4s. I guess the question to you is budget...how much do you want to spend?

$100 - $150
ATM I'm using a swallow eq
And to charge this lot seems to take for ever that's why I thought
I'd be better off with. The 4 x charger or the 2 x charger

With that budget you're really limiting the quality of the charger if you need a power supply to go along with it or if you want an ac/dc charger and 2 or more ports. This is as close as i can find: ProTek R/C "Prodigy 620 DUO" LiPo/LiFe/NiMH DC Battery Charger (6S/20A/400W x 2). Anything less expensive and you'll be severely limiting the capability of the charger.

I use this for all my nitro needs:

It's not a dual charger but at that price, you could afford 2 of them. The 4 output Hitec is also an excellent choice for nitro use.

As for all the guys saying you need a more powerful charger, that's for electric racing. You don't want to be charging a receiver or transmitter pack at 20 amps. For most nitro use, 4 to 5 amps is more than enough since you should be able to charge everything up the day before.

Uh yeah, that would be me. The guy has a 2s, 3s and 4s pack. A 5A charger is more than enough? Sure... if you're into waiting half the day to charge one battery. I have a 4A charger besides my ass kicker. A 2s lipo takes over an hour to charge at that rate. I couldn't imagine having to wait for a 3s or 4s to charge.

The 4 amp charger I linked charges a 4s starter box battery from dead to full in less than an hour. mah is mah, cell count doesn't matter as long as the charger can put out the voltage to charge them.

A 4000mah 1s pack charged at 4 amps (1c) will take about an hour.
A 4000mah 2s pack at 4 amps, about an hour.
A 4000mah 15s pack at 4 amps will also take about an hour.
