Default New radio decision

Hey guys I have raced 1/8 scale nitro buggy for a few years now and all I have used is a spectrum 3r and 3s. Any suggestions or opinions of a new radio? Probably in the same price range as the dx3r pro. Thanks

I had a 3pk for years, still have it actually. When I was getting back into racing a month or so ago I decided to go with a futaba 4pks-r. It has been an amazing radio.

I am really happy with my 4pks-r.

Im happy with my dx3r pro. It has done well. I am also very impressed with their new DSMR technology. I have also used Radiopost modules and I like them very much, infact I have 2 lynx 3ds with their modules in them and am in the process of buying their TS401 radio which is simply awesome, and around the same price. I have also used airtronics for many years...since their old am XL2P LOL. never ever had a problem either. The new Futaba 2pls sounds like a good feature packed radio. All in all, these radios have similar feature sets, some do some things better than others but are still close. Look at them all and see what fits you best. If your on the drivers stand thinking about your radio your not driving to your fullest potential. First look at fit then features....also I will say the customer service for spektrum and radiopost is wonderful! which is a nice bonus and lets you know they appriciate your buisness. I hope this helps.

+1 on the Radiopost radio. I'm a lefty so my choices out of everything out there is narrow just for that reason. It's nice. Built around ergonomics from the ground up. Well designed and I felt it gave me a good bang for the buck.

Receivers and servo's are top shelf too. The company was grounded in robitics before they started making RC radios. So it stands to reason that they already have their act together with servo's & receivers.
