They're very good esc's. I run one in my 4wd shortcourse. Tons of adjustability and handles pretty much any motor you'd want to run. The one downside to them is, depending on what servo you use, they can glitch. All you need to do is add an external bec and all the problems go away. The hobbywing sct-pro is a good esc as well, just less adjustability and you can only run up to 4s. The hobbywing v2 and v3 series of esc's are very good as well, and have the adjustability the sct-pro lacks.

When you ask a question like this you need to put what kind of car u plan to put it in. It would be decent in 2wd but, the only people I see that try to say they work in 4x4 sc have not ran anything else. They will work but you will have to do some testing and tweaking to get them to work decent.

The MMP is an OK ESC. There are better options though. The Speed passion reventon Pro is in the same price range and is all around better speed control. It is smoother, just as adjustable, a better bec. There are others but without knowing your application its hard to say.

The MMP is hands down the most versatile controller on the market. It can be used in just about any application. It may not have every last feature of some controllers, but many of them are not needed. The Castle Link software is one of the best on the market as well. Easy to use and very reliable. The main thing it has over many controllers is it ability to run sensorless motors. This can be the difference between and DNF and a A-main finish.
