The cheapest source for me for EMB spareparts will be Apexmodels in the UK, will be trying them out soon.

I have the HK 3800 in my buggy on 3S. It runs ice cold without the body on, but overheats in 5 mins without the airflow. I just installed a HW 60A ESC to see how it does, but I haven't run it yet.

I put 15wt oil and Losi springs on mine and it's still too stiff. I have a pair of the soft springs I'm going to try next.

So far no issues with the stock esc but I'm only running 2s. With the 19 tooth pinion I don't see needing 3s for the backyard bashing I'm doing. For speed runs, maybe...

For the shocks, I drilled the piston holes bigger & use 25wt AE oil. Going to try the Losi m8t soft springs.

I really hope LC Racing redesigns the battery "Positioner Mount Set" PN L6008. Adjusting the length is OK with the longer chassis of the SCT and Rally. But I wish these kits could accept wider batteries.

Anyone else feel the same?

It doesn't bother me. What did you have in mind? When I was running a hardcase battery that didn't fit I just clipped off the outside "ear" of the mount. The Velcro strap held it in place fine.

I put the carisma soft springset on and 10 wt.

Now it's pretty low to the ground. Perfect for indoor off road course.

I will try soft carisma springs and 15 or 20 wt shock oil for out side.

O yeah i drilled the pistons to 1.2 mm holes.

I tried 1 mm holes but 1.2 is best!!
