I'm absent minded, so I try to make my stuff idiot proof. I always make short battery extensions that STAY IN THE BATTERY. And on the other ends are a male 4mm and a female 4mm on the other, very hard to screw up.

It also prevent fatigue failure inside the battery from plugging and unplugging it all the time.

I like that idea... almost as much as I like the idea of batteries terminals being different sizes...
