I can't be 100% sure that caused it, but I'm definitely going to test it back to back with 1 o-ring because I'm pretty suspicious.

Have you had a chance to try the t-shox Merv?
If not when mine is built I shall get them on and let you know how they compare to standard shocks.

No I haven't. I do like the theory behind them though, will be interesting.

I have the same issues with my diffs I have three of them two spares the only way I stopes it from leaking mind you not 100 percent but allot better than before is that I use diff grease not oil just a little in the diff and no more mess the diff works fine it's like using 2000 diff oil with out the leak I have tried every thing mentioned in this forum and nothing worked but hell I love this car

When i built my diffs, i coated the O-rings with green slime or lithium grease for 15 minutes before i built my diffs. I've never seen it leak since i built them in January, and i've done 4 race weekends.
Can anyone tell what battery mounts these are? They are not the yokomo ones that are 17grams (!)
I am looking at getting some carbon fiber mounts made, i'll keep you guys posted on that.

Hey Guys, i was thinking of modifying my shocks to make them shorter. Right now i have about 4mm of spacing for ride height.
I have some spare shock shafts from Tamiya which are about the same (haven't measured yet), so i was going to cut about 2 mm from them, and re-tap the tread on them. and voila, shorter shocks.
Ideas, comments?
