Back on topic.

If anyone would like to run a set of Sweep tires, I have 2 more sets of 40s. I think 40 fronts and 33 rears would be the hot ticket if anyone is interested.

Parity ideas: (Gabe can give us some direction.)

Gearing restriction needs to be 5.80 FDR or higher.
Rollout is the racers problem. Smaller tire diameter, lower rollout, driver's problem.
Min. weight of 1250g: needs to match an M06 fully loaded and ready to run.
Race director can force a gearing change to a higher FDR at any time to any racer.

One mini class, one set of rules. Anyone caught outside the rules, intentionally or not gets a warning the first time, DQ the second.

Seriously John?

That's your logic? Allow someone to compete with superior equipment in a spec class with the argument of making everyone else better by struggling to compete with inferior equipment?

Are you even interested in resolving an issue, or are you simply bored and trying to troll argument?

Here's what I hope to be my last comment on this issue;

Many of us, the majority in fact, want to run a Tamiya Chassis mini class. If the club at large feels Ceasars newly purchased chassis is in keeping with that competitive goal, that's fine - I'm one voice, with my own opinion.

I have NO interest in an open/mod mini class - period.

Capiche?

If there are two, other than myself that feel a similar way, then I'm in - as three make a class.

I struggle to find the words to make this concept clearer. Others can and will do as they like.

I did not realize that the Mini class was to be Tamiya only. Nor did I realize how important that is to some. Post number 5 should have been a huge red flag.

My mistake. Carry on.

"Ma'am, who is this Queen of Disco?"

"Donna Summer..."
"Now how do her name appear in the phone book?"
"Summer Donna?"
"That's right, now stretch it out..."
"Sum mer don na"

I am 2 out of 2 (positive) with RCMushroom. I'm leary of those also, had my VISA compromised 2 times within 6 months a few years ago, don't know why. Luckily my bank was on it.

Look Stan- it seems like your goal is to destroy the on road program. This is not truck vs. mini so there is no reason to split the class because of brand hate or discrimination. The club cannot refuse certain brands regardless if they are or are not superior. I do believe that your MO6 would be considered superior to most people’s cars that are just starting to race. Your superior 417 should be run with 417 only. That would be fun.
Stop this nonsense of pressuring people to buy Tamiya only. Like I said before, nobody cares about TCS. Go buy a Corally mini assassin and run it. Who cares? I am trying to grow the mini class, it seems like you are trying to sabotage it.
I like you to race mini class but if you don’t want to, I know you have 3 cars so race something else or just don’t show up.
Knock off the bickering Stan; it isn’t good for the club. All of this happened because I won ONE race? You were not even there. You’re worse than Fox News- get your facts straight before making accusations.

Cesar - Have you lost your mind!! You have gone crazy. The only one hurting the onroad program is you Cesar!!

We are all going to work this out on Sunday, at the track, face to face as a group. We need to put an end to this. -- As I know - I cant take another week of this frustration.

If there is no ice in the parking lot, we can settle this with sprints. My money is on Stan.

So, this is off topic, but starting another thread would be pointless. How much flak would I catch from running a 3-5 year old Corally F1, Johnson Motor, 2S Lipo, and pan car style foam tires? After seeing Timmy Mac's F1, I don't know if I would stand a chance, then toss in Stan and Vue, it would be tough. Although running with Matt and John would be good times. I am busy this Sunday, but quite possibly the 24th for March Madness.

On the current subject, nothing against Cesar, I have raced with him for quite a long time, he started with Lenny racing F1. I remember at one point while racing at RCP, Jeremy wanted to weight the cars, just to see where everyone was at, no penalties or forced to make weight. Our Corrallys were at 1520g, well above the 1400g minimum, Cesar and I think one or two others were at 1200ish. So even though rules were gentlemans agreement, there some that choose not to follow. Granted even through the rules weren't followed, it is not like they won every week. Wasn't this supposed to be about fun?

I think we can scrounge together a set of rubber tires for you....

Some may make an issue of wide vs narrow front end, I haven't seen a difference yet.

Yes, you can race it.

I already looked into rubber tires, the axles are different sizes and haven't been able to find interchangeable bearings. Besides, if you look at the foams wrong, they chunk off.
