Default MX-3X vs. 4PL

Hello all. I have been running the mx-3x for awhile now and just recently got a 4pl in a 4x4 sct deal. I like both, but the 4pl seems more comfortable to me. Which of the two are better? IE which one has better transmit times/system lag? Are they pretty close with both being sport systems? I have 3 trucks I race(but only one I do well with LOL). I would like to stick to one brand of radio. Right now the scte is running futaba and the sc10 and t4 are running the airtronics. If you had to buy new and these are your choices which would you pick?
Thanks for any info

The 4PL, aside from the M11x that I had, is the best system i've ever had. A lot of features for the money, comfortable, and extra receivers aren't expensive. Best $200 i've spent on a radio.

mx3x is faster and a very reliable radio.

futaba is a toy that brakes if you sneeze too close to it.

Let's see...Airtronics-4ms, Futaba-6.8ms. Futaba is slower by 2.8ms...you can't see that!! Futaba is a toy that breaks easy? WTF are you talking about? I've been using mostly Futaba and some Airtronics for the last 26 years and never had any problems with either system. You wanna talk toys, talk about Spektrum!

Don't mind him. He's the only one on the forum that had an "issue" with the futaba 4pl.

I've owned every iteration of the MX since it came out years ago and have both a 4PL and an MX3X right now. The MX3X is a fine radio. However, I use my 4PL and love it. Aside from my 3PK way back when, the 4PL is my favorite. It feels right, has plenty of speed, works on 4 AA's (the MX3X requires 8), has tons of features and an outstanding display.

Truth be told, you can't go wrong with either one... but the 4PL gets my vote.

He already owns a 4pl. He's trying to decide which radio to buy additional receivers for.

LOL yes I already own both of these. And an extra mx3x that i got off ebay for a sweet price. Should I dump the mx3x and go with the 4pl or sell the 4pl and keep the mx3x? Looking to thin the herd of radios I have. Where can I go to find the radio spec for each brand? Do I have to go to each mfgr or is there a centralized site for this info?
Thanks again all.

Go to each manufacturers website and they have the specs listed.
