Default Big bore spring conversion

I am switching my stock V2 shock springs and doing the big bore conversion. What associated spring set ups are most using on a sc10? On my T41 I have losi green and yellows on but want to use associated springs on my sc10. I am racing right now on a ight indoor med to high bite clay track. Thanks

I would get the black and green rears and the white and grey fronts

Sweet! Dig the ride! One of the first things you will need to do to get it dialed is switch out the front tires. The stockers are round and that's about the only good thing you can say about them. What type of track are you running on?

Running on a indoor clay track medium/small size tight with small jumps.

Thanks-

Wondering how fast I should rebuild my ball diff. I did it per the video on this site about 6-7 weeks ago. I race once a week 2 qualifiers and then a main or two depending on if I bump. The reason I ask is the diff seems to want to back of a 1/4 turn or so every other race, or is that normal?

Looks great!! Did you do the paint job? I'd cut the front body posts down a bit. Just looks so "rookish".

Gonna' need tires front and rear. The stockers are great for propping up your car while you change out the new tires, rebuild shocks, adjust clutch, etc.

And how did you first run go for ya'?

I'd replace the nut opposite the diff screw ASAP. It shouldn't back off at all.

I can get about five races out of mine before it gets notchy and I have to clean it and resand the thrust washers and diff rings.

Yep I did the paint job...took me about 6-7 hours on an off over the weekend. Im really happy with it for being my second paint job. I was wondering about cutting the posts...no real neee for them being that tall up front huh.

Yep, fixing on getting some gold barcodes on Thursday....I was in a hurry to leave house to run errands an I brought the wrong transmitter. So no practice was had yet.....noob mistake fml.

Thanks form the comments fellas!

I've not had much luck with gold barcodes on indoor clay anyway. Our track here is medium/high bite, smooth and moist. If you are a new racer make sure you talk to the fast locals about what tire they are using and what sauce they are putting on it, if any. That's the most important part about tuning the truck. Either way, let us know how the first run goes!!

Does the SC10 FT come with aluminum "zero" hubs?

I think the FT comes with RTR plastic hubs.

I was chatting with the " fast" guys at the track an he pointed me to the barcodes. I saw he was running them and asked if they did good...he said its the only tire he runs on the truck at the track. We'll give them a shot and see. I'll keep you guys updated on the maiden practice run!

Thanks-
