Default Wiring

I guess I will try and show off my wiring.

Almost done besides I need to solder on some black motor wires.

Although, I am going to keep the red transponder wires, and the red positive batt. plug.

Only downside is that neither are legal for big races but for someone like me who generally is only looking to race at my club it's perfect and can't be beaten for price. Around $80 posted to your door depending where you are realistically is cheap as it will get. And everyone I know running the Trakstar motors have nothing but good things to say about them.

thanks for that but now i am confused:
you said you run both in 17.5 blinky but you send a link for 7.5T motor?
I am new in the hobby, (about a year) always thought – if the number in the motor is lower 5.5 < 6.5 than the motor is stronger…
Am I right?

Does the esc and the motor you send are compatible?

ok so i have a b4.1 with a t4 chasis. its nickname is the limo. Although i am getting it closer to the way i want it i still cant get any steering out of it. it seems like it just pushed around the corners. I have added weight up front and everything and i still cant get it to do anything put push around the corners. I am pretty new to the buggy. i have owned it for about 2 months now. I am just trying to get some input here.

You can try adding your esc on top of your battery and that should be able to add a lot more steering.

I just click on the latest they had for download on the home page. Mentions improvements for 4-pole motors. I put it back to stock this morning though after deciding I didnt want to mess with it before I had a chance to run it.

It's pretty obvious...ditch the T4 chassis and use the +8 chassis. Using the T4 chassis is like steering a battleship around the corner.

Default What degree hub carrier?

I have a original b4 ft and it is box stock in its set up. I have recently got a worlds kit and am having a hard time getting it to handle as good as my old one. I know there is many changes between these 2kits. I have not been able to find what degree hubs were on the first b4. The worlds kit has the aluminum hubs that are 0.0 etched into them so I guess all the toe in is being added at the toe/anti squat block on the front of the rear arms. What was the set up for the rear on the first b4 ft kits? The set up sheets from AE don't reference any rear hub options like the b4.1 sheets. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The original B4's (plastic hub carrier) were all 0 degree. The B4.1 Factory Team included the 0.5 degree rear hub carrier (aluminum). The B4.1 Worlds and B4.2 cars include the 0 degree aluminum hub carrier. The majority of older setups were all the 0 degree rear hubs coupled with the 3 degree toe block, if it was different it would be listed in the 'notes' section on the bottom.

I would get the viper combo. They have great support on these forums and a 1 year warranty on the esc. Plus the progauge makes esc tuning so easy for new drivers.
