Default Mini/Cup motor

Stan you better double check with J.A. about motor rules. I thought I heard at HTO you can run a 17.5 in certain Tamia M-chassis.

Official rules as posted on Revolution Raceway site are:

Silver can 540 Johnson or Mabuchi or
21.5 brushless (no ESC timing or boost) or
30T Cup tuned (HPI motor suggested by HPI for Cup Racer)

See page 8 of attachment.

I run a silver can 540. It would be news to me if J.A. allowed 17.5 and if so, definitely not cool.

I think 17.5 in a Mini would be insane and too hard to drive. I'm pretty sure they stick to the posted rules.

Anyone looking to sell a 21.5 motor? The one in my F1 car is getting a little slow.

Perry it turned out not to be my motor. The battery I was running was getting weak. On the track at HTO, that lack of punch was making my car pretty quick because it couldn't spin the wheels if it tried Now i have a whole new throttle curve to learn!

These RC cars are getting too complicated. Jeff and Perry, can you show me how to add the "Kinetic Energy Reduction System" to my car? I'm guessing it's good for 1/2 second per lap.

Mark, that may be your problem. We're running the Kinetic Energy Recovery System, not the "reduction" system,
