hey guys I'm a bit new to 1/12 racing, but i must say every bit of advice you guys have given me has worked awesome!!!! THANKS!!!! Now for some more questions. I run a L4 on a tight carpet track and i was wondering which spring I should use in the center shock? ( currently I am using green). I also was wondering has any one used the spring steel t bar? I have seen it on the IRS web site but dont know if there any good,or what application are they good for. Thanks again

My Friend runs the Q12 so he convinced me to run the rear pod plate and tube setup.

It's and L4 with a PRC top plate and cross brace so that tubes could be used instead of the plate setup that comes from the factory.

Dr Smooth - You generally adjust your spur as your tires get smaller. Start with a 100, then 98, then 96. You could just start with a 96 but you won't have as many rollout options.

I wouldn't go with a 100.... a 96 is decent.... the smaller the better since with the smaller spur, you can jam a larger pinion in there. For stock racing... at least for us, it's finding the biggest pinion possible.
