Finally decided to organize my stuff. Put up a shelf and built a work bench. Now I am going to have to work on getting things for the home work space and the track pit space.

Here is my setup at home in my room when I am not away at college. I bring everything with me to school except the table.

Default Soldering irons

I've noticed a theme with the electric racers where they have a soldering iron setup up in their pits. How much soldering is needed usually on a race day? Are joints breaking a lot with ebuggy's? Is it to replace blown motors? Thanks guys.

I normally dont bring my station unless its a big race like Cactus, KBRL, or if I'm running stock and superstock. But I will say, almost every race day someone (usually novice) needs to solder one thing or another. This pic is my work area in my garage.
