So my son finished building his B4.1 Worlds car he got for Christmas, is it just me or does the battery brace it comes with not fit this car?

Are you referring to the tight fit under the rear shock tower area?

No, it's not long enough to reach the rear shock tower and there's like a 1.5 inch overhang where the servo will go. Looks like it's the wrong brace all together. Looks like it's the one for the non Worlds car with the shorter chassis.

Sounds like the wrong one, I have another if you need it temporarily.

this is another great article by matt and i think its a great idea. i am all for a little change and some more racing. i have spent countless days racing qualifying trying to get that clean 6 minute run just to have a lapper destroy my perfect 5minutes and 30 seconds. either way there will be times that someone can ruin someones race but that is racing. i just think the announcer needs to take a little more time telling traffic when they are being passed to be curtious. there has been a serious drop in racer etiquette over the past year and the guilty parties need to be taught etiquette and there needs to be some sort of penalty for bad driving

That's strange, it worked fine when I first posted it. Basically the article says instead of having quals then a main just have like a mini point series on race day. Every race counts and you get points based on where you place in each race.

Here's a link to the main page, the article is "Club Racing Reinvented", link is right on the front page.

Ok, so that's basically like having IFMAR mains. I don't think it'll solve the problem that Tom mentioned of people hacking you out of a good race, but it is something different. What it effectively does is average your performance out over the course of the day. I think that would work well for the better drivers like Alex, Tom, Kyle, etc., but for the so-so folks like myself, I don't know what to make of it. I usually spend qualifying as something of a practice session (since I don't live near the track), trying to find the right tires and setup for the track condition, and so I usually do poorly the first one or two rounds. Of course, all of that would amount to nothing if I get screwed in the main. I think it's at least worth giving it a shot to see what everyone thinks of it.
