I've been thinking about this engine for the better part of a year. I like Frankenstein engines, lol. Neal already has 2 of my rare ones in his shop. When they're done i might have to buy a new ninja and get a "R" p/s set from absolute hobbyz.

I noticed a real lack of clockwork racing engines video's being uploaded lately so today I went to Shepparton Offroad to test out there new layout that has yet to be completed to test how things are coming along and you guessed it my clocked novarossi P5 came along to play.

Default Go Pro or Replay

Going to get a new camera this week to shoot more videos with. Since I am by myself most of the time, what camera system would you guys reccomend?

I see the GoPro and Replay both have headband mounts and both cameras shoot in 1080p. I need to get some video of Big Tex up

A couple of guys I know have sunglasses cam which is an easy way when on your own, your head does seem to follow the car some what lol, the zoom is the only issue with mounted camera's, makes it hard to follow closely to the action, but more clocked footage is a good thing.

Aaron Burgess also had his 1/2 gallon old clocked banito out today for some fun today on the new virgin track layout, few small changes and the track should be sweet, a good roller job on the jumps would be a big plus.

Neal and John,
Forgot to mention that the motor came and it looks bada$$! Thanks for all the stickers and the name stickers as well. I will be purchasing all of my motors from CRE moving forward. Thanks for the great motor, smooth transaction and great Customer Service!

Hey guys new to the forum, and been out of the sport for quite awhile, and would like to get back into the hobby. Been reading through the forums a lot the last few days and decided I'd like either a buggy or a truggy, to mostly bash with. My question for the Clockworks engine builder (Neal?) is how does the proto 7 / 9 compare to the bonita when they are modded. Is there any .28 that has more power then the bonita modded for modded?

Fastkid,
I'm sure Neal will chime in but from I've read about this in the forum is that the Proto 7 is more linear in its powerband with a huge top end but they go neck and neck on a long straight away. The Bonito is a little more explosive in its power delivery, where the Proto-7 has a very linear, almost flat power curve which makes it so easy to drive. I am running in my Proto 7 today! All of his motors are insane from what I've seen.

Is there anything you modify that can outperform these .21's? Any .25 or .28's that'll just put the hurting on the bonito? 28xz? It'll mainly be a bashing rig, and I live near some very large dunes, more power the better
