The "Making the T4" has a few articles in the series...one of which he mentions his motor mount tests and spur gear issues.

Another fun time of road course racing today. Had a nice turnout with mini/VTA/Sedan and F1. All classes had some close racing as well. Should have made for some great video! It was nice to see some people show up from Winthrop Harbor, as well as the Green Bay and Milwaukee area.

Also great to see all but one of the X-rays making it the entire day w/o blowing our the spur gears. I swore after seeing all of the previous ones get chewed up that they had stock in a spur gear company . Hope everybody enjoyed the layout once again.

Next week Josh should be back in the Directors chair. Thanks for going easy on me with running the progam. Had a few glitches, but managed to get out by a little after 4:00.

Heads up all, this week will be the first week of the Road Course and Extreme truck running both on Saturday afternoon. Runs will start with the road course at 1, when their first round is done we switch to the Extreme track for their first heat. Track not being run on will be available for practice (with practice mode on) and families can share pits in the big room.

Should be fun for all, bring them all out and lets give it a go.

Thanks, Bill

Great day of racing Saturday, and welcome to the extreme truck guys in their new timeslot. I would like to express my gratitude to Mr. Kollock for pullin gparts off one of his cars so I could run yesterday.

Thanks again
Travis

Saturday was a blast everyone, plan on coming in next week!

The 5th we ran our first program with the Road Course and Extreme Truck programs run together (but on different tracks). We started with the 7 heats of road course (HTO Vintage, USGT, Stock Sedan and F1) then when they were done, announcing went over to the Extreme track to run the 5 heats of trucks. Once they were done, we went back to the Road Course track for their second round and so on.

People were able to have wrench and practice time, plus see the other venue or participate (as some ran both).

I did have a glitch with the Extreme, but results were posted Sunday morning and we should have both systems fully functional for practice on both (we did not have timed practice yesterday) but minor details in my mind.

Carpet lives on in Oshkosh!! And don’ forget Thursday Night Oval is still going strong.

Thank all, Bill

Hey all you F1 jockeys. Check this out.

http://uf1rc.com/2013-uf1-midwest-points-series/

I have no affiliation with the series, just passing the word. It would however be really cool if we could have a good showing at The Track.

Snowy.

Thanks for the link snowy, that looks very interesting! I think a few of us are planning to visit the Track on the 19th with for the all star series. It would definately be cool to see a UF1 event. And a trip to marcca is in the tentative plans as well. F1 rocks. I rocked my Xray into the wall (from the lead) so hard last week that my best lipo battery broke internally. At least it didn't short out. I'm leaving that parked this weekend, I need a relaxing day of F1 and hanging out. See you guys saturday.
