Default Tamiya TT01 Drift Spec > Race

Hi All,

I have a drift spec Tamiya TT01 running on slicks, my query is how easy is it to convert this to a normal race spec car? Is it just a case of fitting treaded tyres?

Many thanks for any info

Luke

A general rule of thumb is that race cars can easily be drifted, drift-spec ones, assuming yours has the different suspension characteristics most do, rarely make good race cars. That being said, it wouldn't hurt to just try it with the different tires but I would hate to see someone sink a bunch of money into trying to make a drift car a good race car .

the big difference is motor postion between the drift car and race car. for racing you want the motor more towards the rear
