Default Winter projects to pass time

Any ideas for winter nitro rc projects that I can do on/for my Nitro Sport Im getting for christmas? up until the snow that will be coming soon melts, My new nitro RC car will be useless. Like painting a body, installing failsafe, etc, etc, preparing it for break in, etc, setting it up? I need at least something to pass time like at most a month. Any Ideas?

Study setups and try to get wheel time on something. Find something indoor and run 2wd buggy. If you can get the 2wd buggy down, you will fly in nitro 8th scale buggy

I always like to run my mini cars in the winter. Lots of fun my lhs has a nice carpet track and my basement works well also. Good Times!! As for my nitro stuff I already began tearing them down and I'll freshen everything up for spring. I should say my son is doing the tear down and rebuild this time, it's time he learns the car.
Enjoy your new ride!

Might just get it all set up during winter break and study and learn about it during school up until march then get it out and start running it! I don't have any money to buy another car to use indoors or anything so I might order a clear body and make that my winter/pre-spring project. Also I might just learn how to run it in the winter and do a winter break in after the snow melts and is dry enough and warm enough. Even if I destroy the engine, I can replace it as its only a traxxas 80$ engine. It could help me learn how to dissemble the car and reassemble it.

May do a few teardowns too to see how the car works. That would pass some time

No RC. Hunting and snowboarding. If we get snow. We had a pretty green winter last year.
