Sorry if this has been asked before, but do you guys know if Associated plans to release the B4.1 with the big bores in the same kit? Thanks.

if you want blue, the AE hexes are very good. But IMO, the avids are better though.

Hideeho
The new buggy will be out in a few weeks, just like the big bores were

/sarcasmmodeoff

Lots & lots of rumors, absolutely no facts to back them up. Not even that ANYONE is even testing anything resembling a new buggy.

Just wondering that maybe someone on here may be able to solve my problem. I have the stock rtr b4.1 and recently after my second running, I notice my gears making a louder noise than usual. I just tore my tranny down and my spur/gear mesh is fine. Going into the tranny, all the gears look to be fine. For a sec I thought the main diff gear was stripped, but I believe the main diff gear itself just have very small teeth to accommodate the small tranny space.

When I had my car sitting on the table and holding it down and throttle, I had a loud gear noise and it seems like I wasn't getting a lot of power.

Can anyone identify my problem?

One of the first things you should check before tearing apart your tranny is your spur and pinion gear to make sure those two are still good, especially the spur. Also check to make sure your gear mesh isn't to tight.....Also check to make sure you didn't tighten down the screws to tighten that holds the motor plate to the tranny because you can get some rubbing if it is.....
