dont use electrical cleaner on any part of the motor, just some compressed air, clean/oil bearings. (if brushless)
I am also curious about this.
I am running a Reedy 7.5 with many vents in the motor and two of my local tracks are very dusty.
Thanks I will inquire with AE Monday. In the meantime think I'm gonna get the MIP aluminum one, anyone try this out?
Lol yeah that's why I posted. My manual says turn to page 40 but there was no page 40. Looks like my z8800s fit. I swore it wasn't going to but luckily it did I just need to power my electronics and hope it still works.

If you truly have a bent top shaft AE will replace it no questions asked. First take a look and make sure that you have the slipper pads on correct. Sometimes in the build the pads slip out of the slots in the spur gear and this may be your issue
Regarding the servo. It does use the std servo size, it is just a very tight fit. You should be able to use your JR servo
