I want to run the hubs center. moving them back will take too much weight off the rear of the car.

That will greatly affect the handling of the car.

If you're running c hubs put them on back.

if one side is rubbing and the other is not than you must have something bent.

Really? Moving the hub 1mm really makes that much of a difference? I seriously doubt most folks will notice.

That's not true they don't have to rub. I have no rubbing problems and I crash allot. Ask Bob Barry

If high bite it will not be that great, but noticeable and med to low will be even more of a difference

I've tried it on medium and low traction surfaces. No difference.

Hub spacing makes a difference. It is ignorant to state otherwise...

It's all about personal preference even extending or shortening the wheelbase by 1mm I can feel a difference, but maybe that's just in my head

Nothing is bent. I notice one side rubbing more than the other on 3 seperate b4's already

Wow, really? "Ignorant"? Fine, prove it.

I can't feel the difference myself, and I'd be willing to bet most average racers can't either. Shifting the battery forward or back; yes, there is a difference in the car's handling. Moving rear hubs back 1mm? Doubtful.

If anyone has done the way I suggested tell me this: does the t-buckle rub the spring and shock while you're holding it???

Or are you finding dings on the shocks after a run?

Most likely during crashes the arm is flexing a ton and hitting the shock.

My t-buckle clears the spring by a full 1mm sitting on the bench, yet after a couple hard crashes, I have a couple scratches on the shocks.

Granted, I run C hubs..... If you're running A hubs.... Good luck with that LOL

Running the c's and the clear on the bench.

So were mine but like aerayls stated they flexed during a run scratching up the back of my shocks.

But putting the c hub on the back has fixed everything!

I used ignorant in place of saying uneducated or false. Meant nothing by it, but the simple fact is, moving the hub does effect the handling of the car. Perhaps in your particular experience it wasn't very noticeable, but by the same token, under completely different circumstances it could make a noticeable difference.

The only reason I felt the need to respond is because I don't want to be at the track and hear someone say they read on rctech that changing wheelbase even in such fine increments does not effect handling, then have to argue with them about it. We all know what people read on the forums is the gospel...
