I'm looking to pick a f104 also. What do you guys think if this?

I have always wanted a rubber 1/12 scale class but looks like tamiya f103gt is the closest thing.
It is too bad they don't make them any more.
For those of you who knows tamiya well can I convert a f104 into gt?

I hope this will help you.
I am still kicking around the idea of a Touring car(17.5 or T/A) or a Mini again!

The new 104v2 looks to have the rear pod of the RM01 1/12th chassis.
The too bad they don't scale up the RM01 into the F104 size.
The hex's & front axels look close... what is the dia. of the rm01 & the rubber F1 tires?
Here are the non-race kits with ABS tub chassis & bushings.

I think Lambert has the mounts & has put the Nissan body on his F103? chassis.

Exotek F1R and Exotek FGX Conversion are by far two of the best F1 chassis on the market. Look up UF1 and see what is going on nationally. The class is huge and picking up a lot of following.
The F104 V2 Pro version is pretty nice though.
The best is still the F103.

Building an F104v2 now. It seems pretty nice and great quality.
