I managed to secure a win with my b4 tonight, I am definitely gonna have to dial in the front a little more, and work on the shock oils but the car is already pretty good, and I was able to go faster with it than my 22(which I felt worked pretty good)...I was actually on pace to do a 15 lap run but someone took me out towards the end of the run...car is def fast though

Didn't quite finish tuning but ended up at 72/33 with full timing (20 on can... which is supposed to be 50 on this motor). No ESC boost, etc.
At the end of about 10 minute run, motor was only 113F (ambient around 80F). (Probably will go another pinion, maybe change spur down to 69)

No more info. Here is the deal, I only use Lunsford to screws in on my cars and Lunsford does not currently make 7/8 button heads so i called them and asked if they planned on making 7/8 button heads since everyone will be needing them now that big bores are out. She told me that they might just make new mounts rather then new screws. I'm guessing the quick mounts you bought will work great as long as there is enough threads so you can get the nessasary shims. I want to use these mounts so I can run the plastic bushings. Let me know how it works out.
The lunsford quick tunes worked out perfectly. See pics below. The red nuts are my touch but are identical to the aluminum 4-40 locknuts included from lunsford. Just to check your spacing/shimming the molded nut that's part of the stud is 2.25mm thick. The other parts I used to finish mod are: asc6472 and asc6473.

I just got the motor (d3.5 17.5 maxzilla version) yesterday and was playing around with it today at this track...

Anyone notice that their kit was shipped with 20 deg caster blocks, instead of the documented 30 deg castor blocks?
I didn't until I had to replace one with 7922 bought at the track. I only replaced the side I broke. I wondered why the buggy felt different. Didn't notice the difference until I was cleaning the buggy after the race.

So, I'm not sure what came with the kit then. All I know is there is a big difference in geometry after installing the 7922 30 degree blocks.
